Thanks to good people in Arendal, Joandra in Santa Fe has a chance to become a hairdresser.
It´s difficult to find a good pair of scissors for cutting hair in Cuba. Joandra and Dayami is trying to transform me into ac cuban girl.
The scissors are on their way!
In one of my performance/lecture of Cuba today, and photoslides from our 3 months stay there, som of the audience left money on the table to help giving Joandra in Santa Fe a profession, and a private business.
She told me one day, that her biggest wish was to become a hairdresser like her mum, but she didn´t have money to buy a pair of scissors to start up the business. Besides that, it´s almost impossible to find anything like that in Cuba.
Yesterday, I ordered a pair of hairdresser-scissors, thanks to generous people in Arendal. They are now on their way, to give Joandra a chance to start a small private business in Santa Fe, Cuba.
